Practicing Multiple Points of View
Seeing Others' Points of View:
You will be seeing or feeling that which something or someone else does. This is a practice.
Start with whatever you feel will be easiest – an animal, a person, or an object. Now, just for a split second – yes, you can do it – just for a microsecond, just for the smallest unit of time that you can conceive of: BE THAT ANIMAL, PERSON, or OBJECT. That's right. BE IT. Just for a split second. Don't think about it. Don't think about anything. Don't even try to see or feel anything. Just BE IT.
Just that one moment of BEING IT has made it possible for you to have the entire range of feelings, beliefs, urges, and sense of beingness of that animal, person, or object available to your own intuitive process. You have all that was present at the moment of identification.
Okay, don't stop there! Identify with many animals, with many people, with many objects. With your imagination and your intuition, see and feel their points of view. Your space will expand and expand. Your understanding will become larger and larger. Your ability to view all as equally valid will become better and better. Your sense of power over your own destiny, your intuition, and your sense of who and what you are will become so infused with certainty that there will no longer be any question of right and wrong.
