Getting Stuck to a "Victim":
A "victim" wants help and asks for help, yet believes that his/her specific situation is beyond help. Therefore, no amount of hand-holding will improve the situation beyond temporary. When working with a victim, it is possible for the Lightworker to create a personal sense of failure and, in a sustained effort, focus entirely on helping this one person. This can result in a failure to perceive requests for help from other people.
One way to help both the victim and yourself is by example. Help other people and allow other people to help you. Those examples that you provide can be suggestions to the victim on how to solve his/her own problems. This presents opportunities for the victim to perceive that some situations can be bettered; and he/she may then decide to change their "My situation is beyond help" belief into something like "It is remotely possible that my situation can change."
